Equip-Link
Premium RJ45 Modular Jacks & High-Speed Optical Modules Engineered for Seamless Connectivity
How Modern Network Architectures Mandate High-Performance Connector Engineering
Factory automation and modern IIoT architectures deploy heavy reliance on RJ45 Modular Jacks with integrated magnetics (Magjacks) to insulate physical layers from severe electromagnetic interference (EMI) while delivering uninterrupted gigabit-rate industrial data.
Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) standards demand specialized contact pin designs and premium injection moldings. Specialized raw plastics prevent heat build-up and arc-damage during plug/unplug cycles under load.
Next-generation optical modules combined with CAT6/CAT6A networks enable high-speed data transmission routes. Strict structural designs with optimized shielding limit alien crosstalk and maximize data path longevity.

Quality is at the core of everything we do. We implement a comprehensive quality management system supported by incoming material inspection, in-process quality control, and final product testing. Every product undergoes rigorous testing using advanced optical and network performance analyzers before shipment. Our dedicated quality assurance team consists of 36 experienced inspectors who ensure that every product meets customer requirements and industry specifications.
As a company with a strong manufacturer and exporter background, we primarily serve customers across North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South America. Our extensive supply chain network includes more than 1,280 qualified partners, enabling us to maintain stable production capacity and efficient delivery schedules.
Our major customer groups include telecommunication operators, data center providers, network equipment distributors, system integrators, cloud service providers, and OEM/ODM brands. To support diverse market needs, Equip-Link offers flexible customization services, including private labeling, custom firmware programming, compatibility coding, packaging customization, and OEM/ODM manufacturing.
Innovation drives our growth. Our R&D department is staffed by 68 professional engineers dedicated to developing next-generation optical communication technologies. In the past year alone, we successfully launched 126 new products, further expanding our portfolio of high-speed optical transceivers, including 10G, 25G, 40G, 100G, 200G, 400G, and 800G solutions.
Meeting Global Procurement Standards with Specialized China-Based High-Efficiency Production
Operating out of Shenzhen, the hardware silicon valley of the world, Equip-Link benefits from an incredibly tight network of 1,280+ raw material, copper-alloy plating, plastic molding, and electronic testing partners. This concentrated ecosystem enables us to source raw materials, execute custom mold revisions, and optimize production turnaround times within fractions of the timeline demanded by Western competitors.
Connectivity components cannot follow a one-size-fits-all approach. Different regions require specific engineering considerations:
In addition to standard copper RJ45 modular jacks, modern mixed-medium architectures often deploy high-speed optical transceivers alongside copper sockets. Equip-Link provides a comprehensive range of transceivers from 1G SFP up to QSFP28 100G modules, accommodating data center migrations from legacy copper lines to modern hybrid optical networks.
Addressing Technical Questions on Shielding, PoE Load Capacity, and Optical Module Coding Compatibility
Shielded RJ45 Jacks utilize a metal outer casing (commonly brass or copper alloy with nickel plating) that connects to the cable shield. This path drains electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) to the ground plane, preventing signal degradation in high-crosstalk environments. Unshielded jacks are sufficient for standard office environments, whereas industrial settings and crowded server racks require STP.
Gold plating prevents oxidation and ensures low contact resistance over the lifecycle of the connector. Plating thicknesses range from flash gold to 50 micro-inches (50u"). High-reliability telecom and industrial equipment mandate 50u" gold plating on the contact areas to guarantee a minimum mating lifespan of 750 insertions and maintain connection integrity under vibration or high humidity.
Integrated magnetics bundle signal isolation transformers and common-mode chokes directly inside the RJ45 housing. This saves valuable PCB footprint, isolates the PHY chip from high voltage spikes, filters electromagnetic noise, and guarantees impedance matching for stable data transmissions.
Yes. Our R&D team utilizes advanced compatibility coding systems. We program EEPROM/MCU firmware on optical transceivers (such as SFP, SFP+, and QSFP28 modules) to ensure full compatibility with major networking brands, eliminating vendor-lockout errors on host switches.
Our Quality Assurance infrastructure runs three primary levels of verification: Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) for physical alignment; High & Low Temperature Damp Heat Alternating Test Chambers to verify environmental stability; and Optical Insertion/Return Loss testing to verify optimal optical path alignment.
